A finished renovation isn’t actually finished. There’s drywall dust on every surface, plastic film on every appliance, sawdust in every cabinet, and a coat of fine grit on every floor. Cleaning By Anna started with post-construction cleanups three years ago, and we still handle them across the South Hills — from new builds in Southpointe to kitchen remodels in McMurray. We bring HEPA vacuums, microfiber cloths, and the patience to wipe down every blade of every ceiling fan that just spent six weeks under a tarp.
HEPA vacuum every surface — floors, walls, baseboards, ceilings (where reachable). Hand-wipe every horizontal surface to remove drywall and sawdust film. Remove plastic from new appliances and clean appliance interiors and exteriors.
Inside every cabinet and drawer. Window glass, frames, and tracks. Light fixtures and ceiling fans. Final mop pass on hard floors.
New construction is usually a full multi-day job — bigger spaces, more dust, more fixtures to peel and clean. Renovation cleanups are room-by-room and tend to be faster.
Either way, we plan around the GC’s schedule so we’re not stepping on punch-list work.
Drywall dust settles for days after sanding. A single pass leaves visible residue within hours. We do two passes minimum — initial HEPA vacuum and wipe-down, then a second detail pass after the dust has time to fall.
For final-walkthrough-ready, three passes is standard.
Most post-construction jobs run $400–$1,500 depending on size and how dusty the site is. Multi-day jobs billed per day.
